Impressive OLED TV

The box overwhelmed me to begin with as it seemed to be huge, however once out of the box it seemed less daunting. I understand that this tv is to be wall mounted but this process takes a few days especially when your drill turns out to be missing! A stand option would have meant I could set up the tv and watch it immediately. I thought the cable management on the rear of the tv was very good this means the tv flush against the wall. The set up was easy to do and once I had decided on sports option to enhance the sound and changed the contrast the picture was vibrant and the sound has real depth to it . One of our cats has never been interested in our old tv but he was definitely impressed with this new OLED screen. I think I still might tweak it a bit there are many choices to scroll through to get the perfect visual and sound levels, I am looking forward to seeing the filmaker option for movies. We have not yet connected our sound bar to the tv yet but will do before our sons return home for family film nights and to test out the gaming element to this TV.
The design is almost perfect with a thin rim around it the only thing that spoils the aesthetics is the button in the middle at the bottom. this distracts from the sleek design. The remote also feels a little clunky to hold but these are minor points.
I really like that there is an easy to app to be able to display art on the screen when not in use to disguise it from a tv in our sun room.
Overall our upgrade to LG’s OLED Evo G3 65” 4K Smart TV has made our program viewing extremely worthwhile and an immersive experience.
